Saturday 24th March 2pm - 4pm

Lee Valley Legacy Loop

Bromley Canoe Club have booked the Lee Valley Legacy Loop for sole use on Saturday 24th March from 2pm - 4pm. This is a grade 3, 160m artificial course, therefore we are limiting this event to those over the age of 11 with suitable paddling experience due to the strength and stamina required to paddle it.

Please note that the water will be VERY cold. We are finding out about the possibility of hiring wetsuits. If you have spare paddling clothing (wetsuit/thermals/cag/etc) that you are willing to lend to others please let a committee member know and bring it to the pool the Monday before (19th March). Similarly if you need kit/clothing please let a committee member know as far in advance as possible.

This event is open to club members only, and numbers are limited. The cost is £5 per person for the two hours, and payment is required to secure a place.

As with all club trips a parent/guardian must attend and a consent form must be filled out for all members aged 17 and under.

If you are under 18 you must have a parent or guardian for all trips.

To download a Consent Form (PDF) just click the link in red

Please bring the form completed in full with you (if the form is not complete you may be refused to go on the trip). If you have any questions please ask the trip organiser who will be pleased to help you.

Please note a non refundable deposit must be paid to book a place on all trips. In the event of an individual cancelling within 3 weeks of the trip taking place the club also reserves the right to recuperate its costs.
